		<description>Dear Travis,

My name is Kirk Marshall, a student fellow of Deakin University's Honours program in Professional Writing for 2008, and author of the 2007 Aurealis Award-nominated full-colour illustrated graphic novelette, "A Solution to Economic Depression in Little Tokyo, 1953".

I have plans to formulate and edit an English-language / Japanese bi-lingual literary annual next year, based in Melbourne. Potentially, it will primarily publish fiction, poetry, and creative non-fiction, and incorporate the work of both international writers (such as Nathaniel Rich, Derek White, David Barringer, Toby Litt, and Japanese screenwriter, Yasuhiro Horiuchi) and that of contributors living in Australia (including Patrick Holland and Tom Cho). The intention is to distribute the first issue in both Japan and Australia. I am contacting you to inquire as to whether you would be enthusiastic in writing for the project? If so, please contact me at kacm@deakin.edu.au, and I will describe the journal's intentions &#38; specifications at length.

Anticipate to hear from you soon as you're able,

Thanks Travis.
